New Event + Update + Roster changes

Lots of stuff to talk about!! Let's get started!

First off, the new Event started and ended buuuuut... I missed it! Sorry, I was busy these couple of days and I didn't play NN very much (or at all!). To make up for this, no player will get demoted/kicked out from this Event but the players that actually compete will get their promotions normally!

Also, a new update came out today which, apart from the bug fixes (yey, I got my crown back on the Team tab on the game!!) it also announced more cars and more features that are coming soon. I checked NN facebook page and twitter but no more news about what's coming. If I learn anything, I will announce it here as well!

Last but not least, lots of new members arrived after last weeks wipe so I'm updating the Roster now (if you see your names on the Roster, then I'm already done doing the update!). And one more thing just to clarify things, I would only like people with descent nicknames on the team so any players with the default "Player1234567890" tag or with offensive/insulting nicknames will be kicked out instantly.

19/5/2015 New Event started!

Άργησα μια μέρα να το κάνω το post αλλά το έκανα! Το Team Event έχει ξεκινήσει με μόνο 3 συμμετοχές, κάτι το οποίο σημαίνει πως με το που θα τελειώσει το Event, περίπου 20 θέσεις θα γίνουν διαθέσιμες στην ομάδα!

Επίσης, έχω προσθέσει άλλα 2 setups αυτοκινήτων στη λίστα, οπότε ρίξ'τε μια ματιά!

I'm a bit late on doing this post but here it is. The Team Event has begun with only 3 participations, which means that when the Event ends, around 20 spots will be available on the team!

Event ended, roster updated

Το Event της 15-5-2015 τελείωσε και τα πήραμε τα αποτελέσματα. Η ομάδα κέρδισε 474 βαθμούς! ο Phoenix Rising διατήρησε το βαθμό VIP που έχει και ο The-Real-Givil27 προάχθηκε σε Senior Member. Όλοι οι άλλοι υποβιβάστηκαν και πλέων υπάρχουν πολλοί παίχτες που είναι σχεδόν εκτός της ομάδας εκτώς και αν αγωνιστούν στο επόμενο Event. Για περισσότερες πληροφορίες, δείτε εδώ. The 15/5/2015 Team Event has finished and the results are in. The team earned 474 points! Phoenix Rising maintained his VIP status and The-Real-Givil27 was promoted to Senior member. Everyone else has lost a rank and a lot of people are almost aou of the team if they don't compete on the next Team Event. For more info check here. Enjoy the boosts until the next event begins! 

How to achieve a Special rank.

Όπως είπα σε προηγούμενη δημοσίευση, οι κατατάξεις πάνω από το απλό "Member" μπορούν να επιτευχθούν με το να πληρεί ο παίχτης κάποιες προϋποθέσεις. Εδώ θα εξηγήσω πως θα λειτουργεί αυτό.

Οπότε, βασικά, για να ανεβεί κάποιος κατηγορία σε κάποια ειδική, δεν αρκεί απλά να πάρει μέρος σε κάποιο Team Event αλλά να κερδίσει και κάποια από τα κομμάτια του. Κάθε Event έχει 3 κομμάτια που κρατάνε 24 ώρες το καθ'ένα. Κάθε κομμάτι σε βάζει να τρέχεις και με δυσκολότερους αντιπάλους αλλά οι ανταμοιβές είναι καλύτερες κάθε φορά. Για να κερδίσεις ένα κομμάτι, χρειάζεται να κερδίσεις τουλάχιστον 6 από τους 10 αγώνες. Οπότε, για να ανέβει κάποιος σε ειδική κατηγορία, θα πρέπει να κερδίσει τουλάχιστον ένα από τα αντίστοιχα κομμάτια που αντιστοιχούν σε αυτή. Δηλαδή, για να ανέβει κάποιος σε Senior Member, θα πρέπει να κερδίσει το 1ο κομμάτι του Event, για Premium Member, πρέπει να κερδίσει το 2ο και για VIP Member πρέπει να κερδίσει το 3ο κομμάτι. Σημειώστε εδώ ότι κάθε φορά ο παίχτης μπορεί να ανεβαίνει μόνο ένα επίπεδο, οπότε αν ένα Member κερδίσει το 3ο κομμάτι ενός Event, θα ανέβει στο Senior Member πρώτα, δε θα πάει αμέσως VIP. Θα πρέπει να κερδίσει 2 ακόμα Events για να πάρει το VIP rank!

Αλλά, μιας και γνωρίζω πως για να πάρεις το VIP (ή οποιαδήποτε ειδική κατάταξη) μπορεί να είναι δύσκολο για κάποιους παίχτες, το να μη μπορέσεις να αποδώσεις τα μέγιστα σε κάποιο Event δε θα σου κοστίσει την κατάταξη. Π.χ. αν είσαι Premium Member και χάσεις στο πρώτο κομμάτι ενός Event, μην ανησυχείς! Δε θα χάσεις την κατάταξή σου. Μόνο αν κάποιος μείνει ανενεργός θα κοστίσει την κατάταξή του αλλά, ακόμα και γι'αυτό, υπάρχουν μερικά προνόμια για εσάς! Οι Senior Members έχουν τη δυνατοτητα να μη συμμετάσχουν σε κάποιο Event και να μη χάσουν την κατάταξή τους (θα πρέπει να χάσουν και δεύτερο Event για να πέσουν κατηγορία) και οι Premium και VIP Members μπορούν να χάσουν 2 Events χωρίς να χάσουν κατηγορία. Οπότε, πάει κι αυτό.

Να θυμάστε ότι όσοι περισσότεροι παίχτες κατέχουν μια ειδική κατάταξη, αυτό σημαίνει περισσότερα και καλύτερα boosts που θα ενεργοποιούνται για όλη την ομάδα!

Like I said on an earlier post, Ranks above ordinary "Member" can be achieved through meeting some requirements. Here, I will explain how that will work.

So, basicly, to increase your rank to a special one, you need not only take part on a Team Event but you will be required to win some of the Event's "legs". Each Event has three legs (=parts), each lasting 24 hours. Every other leg makes you race with stronger opponents but the rewards are better each time! To win a leg, you need to win at least 6 out of the 10 races you race. So, to increase to a special rank, you will be required to win at least one of the appropriate legs that rank corresponds with. Which means for the Senior Member rank, you need to win the 1st leg of a Team Event, for the Premium Member rank you need to win the 2nd leg and for the VIP Member rank, you'll need to win the 3rd leg. Take notice though that you can only advance one rank at a time, so a Member that wins the 3rd leg of a Team Event will only increase to Senior Member, not straight to VIP. He'll need to win 2 more Events to get the VIP rank!

But, since I know that getting that VIP (or any special rank for that matter) may be quite hard for some players, not managing to perform your maximum on an Event won't cost you your rank. I.e. if you're a Premium Member and you get kicked out on the 1st leg of an Event, don't fret! You won't drop your rank! Only if you are inactive will you lose your rank, and even then, there are a few bonuses to help you out too! Senior Members can miss out on an event without dropping a rank (they will have to miss a second Event to drop the rank) and Premium and VIP Members will be able to miss 2 Events without dropping a rank! So, there's that.

Remember that the more players owning a special rank means more and better boosts to be activated for the team! 

14/5/2015 Team Event start

Με αυτό το Event ξεκίνησα και τη λίστα του Roster της ομάδας. Όλα τα μέλη χωρίς πόντους που δεν πήραν μέρος στο Event τοποθετήθηκαν μια βαθμίδα πάνω από την τελευταία ώστε να έχουν έστω και μία ευκαιρία να πάρουν μέρος στο επόμενο Event και να μείνουν στην ομάδα. Όσοι είχαν πάρει μέρος σε κάποιο παλαιότερο Event τοποθετήθηκαν σε μεγαλύτερη κατηγορία. Από τη συμμετοχή στο ΕΠΟΜΕΝΟ Event θα αρχίσουν και οι ανακατατάξεις στο Roster! Καλή επιτυχία σε όσους παίρνουν μέρος σε αυτό το Event!

With this Event, I started the Roster list of the team. All pointless members that didn't participate on this Event were placed on a rank above the last so that they can have one more chance to join the next Event and remain on the team. Everyone that participated on an older Event were placed on a higher rank. Roster changes will start to take effect from the participation on the NEXT Event! Καιρός να ασχοληθώ και λίγο με αυτή τη σελίδα. Εδώ, λοιπόν, θα μπορούμε να έχουμε μια λίστα με τα setups των αυτοκινήτων μας ώστε κάποιος που ψάχνει βοήθεια μπορεί να βρει κάτι που τον ενδιαφέρει. Πως μπορείτε να μοιραστείτε το δικό σας setup;; Εύκολο! Στο κάτω μέρος της σελίδας υπάρχει η δυνατότητα να αφήσετε κάποιο σχόλιο! Κάθε ολοκληρωμένο tune/setup που γράφετε στα σχόλια θα μεταφέρεται στο βασικό post για να μείνει! Αυτό που χρειάζεται να παρέχετε είναι μια φωτογραφία του αυτοκινήτου, τους χρόνους σας, τις ρυθμίσεις σας και ότι άλλο σχόλιο πιστεύετε ότι θα χρειαστεί να ξέρει ο αναγνώστης ώστε να οδηγήσει το αυτοκίνητο του όσο καλά όσο εσείς! Για να μη γίνει ΠΟΛΥ μεγάλη η λίστα, προς το παρόν θα κρατήσω ένα όριο 2 αυτοκινήτων ίδιου τύπου (τα 2 καλύτερα setups από πλευράς χρόνου) αλλά αυτό μπορεί να αλλάξει στο μέλλον. Προς το παρόν θα ανεβάσω εγώ μερικά δικά μου setups για να ξεκινήσει η λίστα αλλά πιο πολύ περιμένω να δω τα δικά σας setups!

It's about time I put some work on this page. So, here we can have a list of our car setups for someone to help himself if he finds something intresting. How can you share your own setup? Easy! At the bottom of the page there is the possibility to leave comments! Every complete tune/setup guide will be posted on the main page and stay there permanently! What is needed of you is a picture of the car, your times, your tuning and any other comment you think is nessesary for the reader to know so he can ride his car as well as you do! In order not to make the list TOO long, for the time being I will put a limit of 2 cars of the same type (the 2 best setups time-wise) but this may change on the future. For now, I will upload a few of my car setups to get the list going but I'm eager to see your own setups!
